Terms & Conditions

Artwork Approval

A PDF proof of each design will be sent via email for your approval.  You are free to then to advise amendments you'd like to make to the designs until you are 100% happy. Once we have received approval via email, we will proceed to the sampling stage, this allows you to see what your stationery will look like in the flesh before going to final print production. We offer one set of samples free of charge, any further sampling will incurr a £10 fee.  Colours on screen may vary slightly to the printed product.  Wording must be supplied by the client and the final proof must be checked thoroughly for any errors, we will not accept responsibility for any errors once the final design and wording have been approved for final print production.

 

Printing

Unless otherwise agreed and quoted, all our designs are printed digitially.  This allows for good quality print on a wide range of 300-350gsm card at reasonable prices.  If you require a design to be printed on a much thicker card or colours to be matched to specific Pantones, we would suggest using the lithographic printing method where a wider selection of card textures and thicknesses are available.  This method however, is considerably more expensive than printing digitially.  If you are unsure of the method of printing you would like us to use then please feel free to get in contact and we can discuss with your further the best method for your stationery.

 

Artwork Only

It is possible for Petal & Pray to supply you with print ready artwork files for you to print yourself, or for you to forward onto a printing company of your choice. In this instance, you would be charged a design fee only.  Design fees start from £150 dependant on the amount of design involved. Files will be supplied in a PDF format so please ensure you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed in your PC or Mac.

 

Payment

You will be supplied with an itemised quote that is valid for 30 days before proceeding with any work.  Bespoke design fees start from £175, dependant on the amount of design involved, plus a cost for each item requested. For the design process to begin, we require payment of the stated design fee via BACS transfer or card payment through PayPal. The design fee is used to secure your order and is non refundable. Before proceeding to print production, we will then require the remainder of the balance to be paid. We will always advise you if any additional costs will be incurred before proceeding. Changing colours, wording, type of card stock and amendments to layout once final artwork has been approved and sent for sampling will incurr additional fees.

 

Delivery

Your order will be sent via a next day courier service or by Royal Mail Special Delivery and will require a signature.  You will be advised of the delivery method before postage.  Postage and packaging costs will be stated in your initial quote. We cannot be held responsible for any damage incurred once goods have been handed to the third party courier service.

 

Refunds

We aim to start work on your design as soon as we receive payment of the design fee.  Therefore, we do not offer refunds as work is likely to have begun on your order. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any responsibility for damage in transit once we have passed the goods to our courier company.

 

Timescales

As each job varies so vastly, we are unable to give specific timescales at this point.  However, once payment of the design fee has been made, you will be sent a detailed timescale tailored to your required delivery date. Please note that if we are required to finish your designs with twine or ribbon etc, the time is which your order is completed will increase.  We endeavour to keep you fully up to date with the progress of your order, but if it at any time you wish to check on it's progress, please do not hesitate to contact us.

 

Reordering

We charge a minimum order fee of £25 for reordering, regardless of quantity for further printing of stationery once your bulk order has been printed. So, it is more cost effective to order all invitations and place name cards at once.  We recommend going through your guestlist thoroughly with your partner and family to ensure you have included all possible guests on your initial order to avoid the minimum order fee.  We also suggest ordering a few blank (without guests names printed) invitations in case of any last minute additions.
