Lydia is a Brighton girl, born and bred. Well, Hove, actually. She moved to London as a student and although she and Andy had made a life for themselves in the big smoke, she had her heart set on marrying back home and had just the place in mind, Hotel Du Vin which sits just across from the pebbly shore Lydia knows and loves.
Both Lydia and Andy were keen to capture the essence of Brighton & Hove without being too cheesy, so after seeing the first design concept submitted to them, they made a decision there and then to use the brightly coloured beach hut motifs as the symbol of their wedding day. For those who don't know this stretch of coastline, the chirpy beach huts line Hove seafront and are completely synonymous with the area.
The design was used right throughout the wedding day from the Save the Date cards to the table plan. The out of town guests loved the idea and were excited to head down to the city for the occasion and the Brighton & Hove natives were chuffed that the couple had given a nod to the bride's hometown.
We know that Lydia and Andy had a wonderful day beside the seaside and a little birdy tells us that Mr & Mrs Jackson are making their way back down south with a bump on board to start their new life as a threesome. Massive congratulations and we can't wait to see pics of Baby Jackson!
